A bit ot ebay trouble; can anyone explain how to deal with this

I buy an item from a seller who takes paypal. I don't want to use paypal. The ebay checkout system keeps routing me to paypal. Is there a way to stop it from doing that? |

...wait until the seller contacts you and then respond with how you'd like to pay. |

Did the seller have PayPal as the only authorized method of payment? |

I agree. Paypal sucks. One seller I dealt with put the wrong email address. It cost me twice as much in tied up money for about 3 weeks. I ended up canceling my credit card and got a new one to avoid Paypal trying to get money they weren't entitled to. I won't buy anything where the seller requests only paypal. |

This is probably stating the obvious, but you can try email'ing the seller, or, eBay has a feature whereby you can request their telephone #. |
