I have a small snuff or matchbox from the 1880's with that symbol on it. When I first bought the box, when I was like 11, I thought it was a German piece. However, when I showed it to an antiques dealer, they said it was older and that the Germans took the Good Luck symbol and turned it like 60 or 90 degrees to make the Swastika. |
