This is probably the scarcest type card I can offer up to this thread. Lots of cards have been found that are missing certain colors to them causing them to end up in a totally different color. I've never heard of any card that had a color added the way this F50 Smith has. Harrington's, as are Tharps, Sweetman's and essentially anything with an ACC Designation of F-50 are ALWAYS found in black and white. Here you can see that both the front and even the font on the reverse is all in green. |

That was me Brian, I own one now and this one was mine too. I started printing them in my basement as green hoping to create a new rare type card. I was going to add the Old Put and Toy Town overprints to them but I ran out of ink. Dan. |

Frank, I would bet your Riddle card is either 1946 or 47 since it looks like he's wearing an Indianapolis cap. |

Frank, it's possible it could be earlier than that...Riddle played for Indianapolis from 1928-37...Riddle looks kind of old though and that's why I thought maybe it was from his last stint with Indy in 46-47. |

Hal, no one knows what set the Ruth, Gehrig, and Foxx are from. There's another thread that shows all known cards. They came in strips, but could possibly have been cut out of some kind of display piece. |

geez...steve...I had a feeling you'd have that kinda stuff tucked away...very nice. I'll be happy with the primary 6 e94's...forgoing the orange(if it exists) and the grey. Unless I see one of those e97 b/w's for a fair price! |

These are not in my Phillies collection but reside in my personal collection nonetheless. I recently cataloged a variation in this set that finally got put into the Standard Catalog. Still looking for other Ballantine Coasters from this set. |
