A licensing issue. The same for many of the Lakers, most all images from 69 into the 70\'s have the jersey on backwards, to not show the \"lakers\" name

Thanks for the info. I had not heard that before. I wonder what kind of licensing issue they could have had. Wouldn't Topps have worked it through the NBA? Or was the league such a mess back then that they had to work it out with each team?

You are correct though. There are only about 20-21 players in the entire set who's team name is visible in the picture. They are from Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee, San Diego, and one from Seattle.
