![]() Headed to this year's National with 5 cards needed for my T205 base set. I was hoping to find at least one, maybe two. Was on cloud nine when I was able to land these 4, leaving just Tyrus. (nothing like saving the big boys for the end.) But the highlight of the event, for me, was finally getting to meet Matt and Turner Engle. They really helped getting me going on the set and have provided so much direction along the way. I wonder exactly how many cards in my set went through their hands at one time? (I'm pretty sure at least 2 of the above did). Thanks guys...see you in Baltimore. Tyler Last edited by Tyler; 08-03-2009 at 07:26 AM. |

My favorite pickup (the E90-1 Matty wasn't bad either). Anyone care to guess who the signers are and what the item was?

Joe and Richard are easy. I can only guess that the middle one is Leon?

Jay's signature looks like a trumpet being wrapped in a Joan Miro statue..............

Hi Tyler,
Thank you for the kind words. It was nice meeting you at the show as well. Congrats on the pickups, a few of those look very familiar. ![]() I wish you the best of luck in finishing your T205 set. The Cobb shouldn't be too tough to pick up. My best, Turner Engle Last edited by asoriano; 08-03-2009 at 05:28 PM. |
