What an awesome letter! It really gives insight to his personality. Can you imagine having two daughters living on Pearl Harbor? How cool was it that he not only sent an extra picture but, he described the background.

That's a good question and I really don't know what I want to do. The people at the JSA table wanted to slab each piece for me individually (envelope on back of letter), but (a) that's an unnecessary expense; and (b) there is probably a way to frame them up nicely.

I generally dislike the idea of framing tobacco cards -- esp. signed ones. But this one really is screaming for some elaborate and professional framing display. I also don't really like the idea of putting it up on a wall in my "playroom," where some of my other baseball stuff is. Light is also a problem.... oh well.

Probably just sit somewhere safely hidden out of the light....
