You guys are full of great information! Thank you! One last question: was the Cardinal red of 1910 the same as the Cardinal red today? Or was it a different shade?

It was perhaps a bit more burgundy-toned. Still in the spectrum of red, but with a burgundy tint. The logo of today is just a flat-out brash red... the color back then was deeper and richer.
The best comparison I can make is a red rose (which has burgundy tones) vs. a stop sign (which is a straight red). Hope this helps.... |
