The '55 Kahn's are very rare, IMO, and the '56's are certainly rare enough--it took me a number of years to find a '56 Frank Robinson (true rookie, PSA pop report of 9, last time I checked) with good eye appeal. That one only graded SGC fair, due to some back damage from being glued into a scrapbook, but the front had an EX+ appearance, and I am delighted with it. To me, with a rare card, eye appeal is much more important than technical grade. I'd love to have a '55 Kluzewski in any grade, but am only aware of two that have sold in recent years. One of those was totally trashed, but still brought in the $350-$600 range, to the best of my recollection.
Best of luck with your endeavor, Larry Last edited by ls7plus; 09-30-2011 at 02:53 PM. |
