Trivia Question about Topps
What is the first issue from Topps to have a photo of the player on the front and back of the card?
Let's not count 1955 double headers... The same player on the front and back of the card is what I am looking for. Can anyone think of other issues that uses both front and back ? '" Old stuff only" no modern junk |

Modern "junk" seems a bit harsh. Some of us collect that stuff

1971 is incorrect... Topps put out something before 1971

Correct !!! 64 Topps Giants.
Any other company put cards out with front and back before the 64 Topps Giants? |

1922 Lou Gertenrich
Pulled this from the Standard Catalog . The guy played 3 major league games between 1901-03. He appears most often on the back of American Caramel add backs in the 1920-22 era.

Pretty cool ! You would think there would be more cards in the last 100 years with both front and back .
