Diamond Stars,
and C46,

Trying to do the T206-6. Figure it will take 7 years.

I've started a few sets...one for each major "genre" of the 20th century -

e99 -- 6 out of 30
d322 -- 18 out of 25
c46 -- 68 out of 90
m116 (bluebacks) -- 23 out of 24 (but only if you count proofs and advertisement pieces )

I also collect other various type cards from the 20th century sets. It's more or less just me identifying my favorite cards from specific sets and going after those only.

What do you mean by genre?

like: tobacco, caramel, bakery, candy, gum, etc?

1929 Rogers Peet
1976 Topps
1976 Topps traded
1887 Old Judge Browns Champions

When I finish the Playball set in SGC(34 more)and the 48 Bowman I want to work on 49 Bowman and Old Judges.

That's a neat & interesting variety of sets....how'd you pick 'em?
the 1976, for instance?

Hey Jason, Once upon a time I thought I was a type card collector but I am a set collector at heart. I like the black and white sets of the 20's-40'S. I love the OJ's but my budget dictates that I go for the Brown's subset before going after the monster set. The 76 Topps goes back to the first cards I collected as a 9 year old, so I have a soft spot for them only now they are in SGC holders instead of bike spokes. It's good to have a bunch of different sets to add to.
Best regards, Chris

Finished several of my favorites:
1888 N28 (50 cards)
1941 Play Ball
1952-1954 Topps
1956 Topps

Working on:
*1933 Goudey (need 8-10 commons and most of the HOFers, so need like 60-70 cards)
*1923 W515-2 Little Wonder Picture Series; need 2....help!!! (wouldn't even be attempting if I hadn't bought a strip-card collection that included what I thought was a complete W515 set but after reading Lemke's column in SCD about some "odd" W515s that had been found with letters across the top I got my "set" out and wah-lah.......54 of the 60 cards either had the letters or were larger in size......so the search started.)
*1955 Topps (love the '52-'56 Topps run)
*1952 Topps Red/Black #1-80
*1953 Topps (white/black variations)
