Some are issued by the Post Office as they are souvenir sheets. The top one (in the second post directly above, with eight stamps (circles to the right on the stamps) are Scott catalog # 1197-1204 stamps as a souvenir sheet and is valued at about $35.00 mint unhinged. I did not look for the others yet.

I have a small pile of those red Franklin postal cards. The catalog value is about 0.35 each but are not really worth anything. Think of it this way, a 1987 Topps common books at maybe 0.15? But what can you really get for one.

Stamps were the first thing I collected. Went with my Dad to MSG stamp show in 1969. Collected mostly Animal stamps..gave it up pretty quickly as Baseball cards took over. For now I have this from my Great Aunt. I will pass it in to one of my Grandkids when they are old enough and hopefully show interest.
