Jim, I am typically a much bigger fan of photographic portraits, but your N167 Ewing might just change my mind. ...and the back of it is double-take worthy too. Phenominal card, my friend!

Great thread!

Congrats on landing that '21 Voskamps, Leon! It's the only one I know of. I remember being shell-shocked when I saw that one in person a couple years ago (since I only knew about the earlier Voskamps Coffee set prior to seeing that one). Great, great card!

I don't play favorites, but I know one member likes to view three of my cards, so I will post for his viewing pleasure. I'm not bragging or trying to tease the member, just posting for his enjoyment:

If we are limiting it to picking our favorite three pre-war cards today I would pick these three.

Like many others, it's very hard to pick just 3. So i picked 3 with the same image, for today's post. If the thread is still alive next week. I'll pick a different player.

This thread makes my head spin! I've scrolled through this one top-to-bottom at least 10 times and every time a different card catches my eye.

Out of my humble contribution, the top two never change. There is about a 10-way tie for the number three spot, but today I'll occupy that slot with the oldest card I own.

Regards,

Richard.

Terjung-
I somehow missed your post the other day, but just now caught it as I scrolled through again and want to second t206hound - that's an amazing Boilermaker card!

I don't have access to a scanner currently, but need to show you my autographed Ray Schalk B/W photo in a Purdue uniform (from when he was a baseball coach there in the 1950s).

Go Boilers!
