SERIES ONE

Mike- who's the Columbus player? I can't make it out.

Thanks
Raymond, That is Long for Columbus.

Jeremy....I will post a better scan of Hicks as soon as I get a chance....

Lesson learned ...with the size limitations here on 54, two rows of 4 is about max for the scans.

Mike,
That is the first T210 I have ever seen where they misfired the name and team on the wrong spot. That is off by a lot and that makes it special.

Thnx for sharing, J

Default McGilvray

I hope someone here got the McGilvray from the B&L auction tonight. That is one tough card, and you beat me out fair and square. On a similar note, I picked up and Emery (Birmingham) off e-bay randomly tonight. I'll post a scan when it comes in. Man, my emotions are all over the place, I was so bummed to miss the McGilvray, then an Emery falls in my lap. That's card collecting, right there!

Really want to upgrade my Revelle one day to match my SGC 60 and up Richmond Colt team set. Thats a tough one in any grade. The one in my raw Series 2 set is F at best. Ill quote a fellow collector but leave him nameless unless he wants to claim it..its all the damn T206 guys fault!

I sold my larger orange border group last year but I went hunting through my collection over the weekend to see if I could come up with t210s to contribute to the thread.

So I have three left, total, in my collection. I had a couple hundred of them at one point I think so my numbers have fallen way off...heh.

The three that are left are each kind of unique. The Series 8 Bauer is an obvious goof with the wet sheet transfer on the front. The Series 5 Roth is an odd card I could never quite figure out as it's pinkish with a blue-ish caption. The Berger is neat as it's an orange bordered card (with a bit of pink in it), but is a Series 8 card. All the orange bordered cards I've ever seen have been Series 3. Not sure what's going on with it, but it's definitely salmon colored and nowhere close to red. Kind of a neat card...

I would rather post these here than in the March Pickups. So happy to get an Emery, and the writing on the Schulz doesn't detract from it's attractiveness at all, to me.

Nice cards in the other thread Jeremy. Two of them I had never seen before.

After what seems like forever I finally crossed of one of the five Series 4 cards I have left to complete the set with this Brumfield. Im in need of Aylor, Benny, Canepa, and Daughtery for completion if anyone has an extra laying around somewhere Ill def make it worth your sacrifice.

My first T210. I am going to try and put together a set of Montgomery players.

I put my Series 8 set on the back burner but sometimes a card just draws me back in. Glad to add this one to the keeper boxes.

Nice Series 4 Orcutt Chris. The white sweater is the away game one I think as all the other Montgomery players have a darker one on. Thats my theory anyway.
