Default Net54 dealers at The National

Because of the enormity of the site, wanted to see if anyone setting up at the show might want to list their table# here and maybe a few words about your inventory range so attendees like myself can locate you. Thanks!

Steve Sabow - Dynamictwo@aol.com -- 914-522-3853

Booth 1117 -- Five wall booths in the main entrance -- Look for a booth showcasing Sports and Non Sports Empty Display Boxes

I will have 10 showcases and over 30 binders showcasing sports and non sports cards, unopened wax packs and boxes and wrappers and cards

What will I be showcasing this year?

This year I will be highlighting:

-- Zeenuts primarily from 1919 to 1931, no coupons, none graded -- with cards ranging in condition from Fair to Ex/Mt -- stars and commons -- many Seattle players -- over 500 cards

-- T205, T206 and T207 and many E cards -- I have made some groupings of cards ranging from 10 - 20+ cards

-- Proof Baseball Wrappers from Topps -- primarily from mid to late 1960s through early 1980s -- some rarer and scarce test issues -- some of Topps actual files showcasing progressive parts of the wrappers including some test issues like 1968 Topps Plaks entire file -- one of a kinds

-- Unopened wax packs from 1933 to 1970s -- every single Goudey baseball issue plus most football and hockey, basketball and non-sports wax pack issue from 1933 to 1970s -- including over 200 packs with the rarest of the rare like 1934 National Chicle Football, 2 1952 Topps baseball, 1968 Topps basketball test issue, 1953 Bowman Baseball, 1933-1938 hockey wax pack, Parkhurst and Topps packs and more -- mostly ungraded. NOTE that I will have a complete list of the packs updated before the show -- call or send me an e-mail -- ALL of my items are available for purchase before and after the show. To reserve any items in advance of the show, I must receive payment before the show begins to guarantee your purchase.

-- Wrappers -- sports and non-sports -- showcased and in 8 binders from the common to the rare

-- Non-Sports -- huge display showcased and in binders -- 2 sets of Big Thrill Booklets (wrapper too) and Big Little Book cards and 1 set of Cartoon Adventures -- mostly early 1930s to 1970s -- focusing this year on Sky Birds National Chicle with key cards, Horrors of War, G-Men and Indian Gum (with Canoe variety rare wrapper).

-- Some Caribbean cards, Cuban cards and Japanese cards

Call or email any questions regarding my display -- see contact details above. Call me to ask me to bring items you desire.

Thanks, and see you all soon.

Al,

Thanks for the comments. I try to do something different every year as long as I continue to buy and sell. I now only do one show a year, the National.

I actually think the Zeenuts are special cards that because of their West Coast appeal have never really been appreciated as much as their T card competitors.

I just saw my first in person at the last show here in Rosemont last fall -- they are really cool cards. Anyone know the furthest East these were sold via the popcorn/peanut/coconut delights?

Love of the Game Auctions will be displaying material from our Summer auction (which will be live by then) and accepting consignments for future auctions, at booth 1021 and 1023, right near PSA.

We'll also just be hanging out and chatting. Stop by and say hi!

Are there any dealers who are going and not using their second dealer pass? I am interested in buying a dealer pass for $100 so I can walk around when the dealers set up on Tuesday. Please PM me or email me if you have an extra dealer pass you would like to sell for $100.

Thanks

Jamie

Forgive me Net 54 collectors, I just picked
up my packs today that I bought this year so I will have them out at the National but they will not show my normal expertise. I will take photos of the 1971 Greatest Moments pack and send those pics to anyone who emailed me.
See you at the show - I just may be slower than in the past. My energy level is not great - so I may not be 100% focused this year. Thanks, Steve

Default 19th century presidential stuff

Re…Anyone with any 19th century presidential stuff?
Yes, booth 503… Glenn and Lisa Mechanick…
Some scraps, 1860s CDVs, and early 1900s… postcards, cigar bands, strips, lots of other…
also Americana 1700s on… GW, Lincoln, TR and others…

For others… just too much stuff to mention.
19th century through 1930s is focus, but stuff into the 1960s this year… baseball, football, hockey, boxing, Olympics, college, soccer, etc.
We pride ourselves on the unusual, rare and eclectic, and just interesting..
We also have a decent amount of non sports and Americana… including a Mickey Mouse and Disney, civil war generals, goudey Indians, etc.

Thanks,
Glenn

Hey Glenn, we're neighbors I'm at 407. Will try and stop by, I don't think I've said hi in person since my show a lifetime ago before I took over the auction!
