Funny, niether one would make my "favorite" card list, nor my "need to have" list. Mainly, just my "should have" list ............

The Risberg is as common as a 1981 Donruss Pete Rose compared to the other three.

Dan, the O'Day is an 1888 M117 Sporting Times card. 27 subjects are known. Some of the drawings are based on N172 photos though the Anson is based on his N28 pose. The O'Day card was a part of one of the lots in the Halper auction. The cards are 7.25" x 4.5". The Old Cardboard site has a scan of the Anson. These card were distributed with copies of the NY Sporting Times, a weekly newspaper. Tough cards to find! I've never seen one on ebay and can't recall seeing one at the National last summer.

Thanks for posting that comparison, Steve. Very cool. Any other M117 owners out there? I've seen about 4-5 in my life, including mine and the Anson scan Lyman has on Old Cardboard.

One of the easiest ways is going through a site called imageshack.us

Go to www.imageshack.us
Click the browse button and pick a picture that you want to show
Click the button that says "Host it"

The next page will load either fast or quickly, it depends on how large your image is.

You will know when you're at the next page as it will have a picture of your image and approx. 10 different URLs.
Click the one towards the bottom that reads "Hotlink for websites"
Copy this URL and then paste it into your network54 post and your image should show up

Bruce- I have seen at least one scorecard that utilizes the M117 front. It is identical to the card, except it folds out and has a scorecard grid in the center. I forget what was on the back cover, but it might be blank.

Combining this thread with the one about the latest edition of the Old Cardboard magazine.

1 of 1 so far as anybody knows.

Honorable mention would go to:

Newsboy and Pach cabinet cards of Yale Murphy
S81 silk of Ed Walsh
Cameo Pepsin pin of John Pappaulan
BF 104 of Mickey Cochrane
