Hard to post my Cobbs following all the ones already shown, not the prettiest, nor the rarest. But I can say that I share my birthday with Mr. Tyrus Raymond Cobb.

Awesome cards everyone.
Jamie, I never get tired of seeing your Cobb run. Those last few backs are insane.

Acquiring all four T206 Cobbs in any condition is a fairly rare hobby achievement. Happy new year!

Chuck, I definitely am stoked to have mine, I meant what I said more in awe of these others. I mean, yowza! There are some really smokin' cards in this thread! I personally am proud to not only get all 5 of my Cobbs, but I was able to get all of them just in this year alone. And if you knew what I paid for all of them, you would really see why I am proud to be able to put this collection together! Thanks for the nice words, and Happy New Year to you as well!

Best Cobb!
Does anyone think it's weird that I'm obsessed with a player who died almost 20 years before I was born???
I'm hoarding Cobbs but my 1914 Cracker Jack and T3 are my favorites. |

Loving me some more here---not to mention those 33 Goudeys of Ruths, and a Gehrig and some Ted Williams and of course the Mick 51 peeking over on the right side. The on the left side what seems to be some t206s with a Nolan ryan and maybe a 55 koufax?
Love to see those as well!!! I been playing with the idea of getting the blue pastel Cobb to go with my 4 Cobb run i'm pursuing. Nice head shot and blue background. I doubt i ever get a CJ Cobb tho. Nice bold red color it has.

I have had a hankering to buy a Cobb for 5 months now. Finally splurged on my first. It's someone else's until it gets in my hand, but I'm excited! It's in a postal vehicle somewhere. Decided on the 1921 exhibit that I can display next to my '21 Speaker exhibit. My wife is making me rob Peter to pay Paul in order to finance it.

I got one of these when i was a little kid. I had no idea what it was but I knew Cobb was a legend and it was my first card of him. It was pretty rough so I replaced it years later. Two more from my childhood: These were how i learned baseball history.

Thanks Sam! I know I've mentioned this before, but it took me a very long time find a red Cobb that was centered with a deep red background and a focused image. The big borders were icing on the cake.

Wow Jeff, great display. Jamie, I agree, if I was going to have one Cobb, a Red Portrait with Black Lenox back is high on that list; great card Chris.

Have a couple to share. The auto is from a 1940's magazine of that iconic picture.

That Cobb is perfect. It has a lot of problems to bring down the price for cheap/poor guys like myself. Then his face is free of any problems. I really like cards like that.
