From an old thread back in 2014,
http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...ighlight=gorge it was determined that Purtell actually was there (uppermost player on the left)… I don't mind that you went back to the Red Cross backs, because if I had a Johnson like that, I'd show it off every chance that I could get too!

LOL, that was McGreachery, not McGeachy, but close enough for government work. On the Deacon White N172 portrait, Goodwin either misidentified White or was making fun of his age when they identified his image as McGreachery, Manager Indianapolis.
