Default Lelands Money return..whats the real story

In today's mail I received a check from Leland's as a refund from Spring and fall auctions(I only purchased in spring). The letter was vague, I am thankful, but does anyone have any ideas of what happened. Very unusual. I guess there should be an honesty plug for them. Almost year later refund.

There was a thread previously on this board that said they had charged too much for shipping, and would be issuing refunds for shipping costs.

They were threatened with a lawsuit for shipping overcharging.
