anyone win anything?

I went up to $5500 with the Marsuma set but did not want to go any higher as it is what I had sitting around to spend. As with all auctions I thought some stuff was a steal and others on the golf offerings did pretty well.

Thoughts?

Nope. The bidding got pretty wild (and weird) around 12:45 to 1:00 AM EST. I was bidding on several lots, but didn't win any.

I didn't win any golf lots.

I would say overall - prices were a little on the weak side. no?
There were some strong-ish lots, but overall - it looked like final results were not strong.

Whoever won the big lot of 133 cards (lot 1617) - I hope some of those cards come available - I would be interested in a handful of them.

I thought the prices were weak on the lotted various cards. That is a lame way to sell them. Hidden in the first varied lot of four was a Yum Yum golf card. I sold a raw one with a crease a year and a half ago for $1200. Unless there have been more unearthed the unofficial known examples of that card were less than five a few years ago.

There are several cards in the large miscellaneous lot that I was interested in but to sell it that way was a waste. There were many cards in that lot that would generate interest on their own. That lot price was a steal, in my opinion, if you had the pocket change to take them all.

Yes, lot 1617 had a 1928 Crescent Hagen PSA 2. I think that card would have sold for $1000-1500 by itself. It wasn't even included in the pictures/scans for the lot.

agreed.

that card was one of the reasons I was really tempted to go all out for the lot.

But... the thought of the hassle of trying to sell off 125 or so of the cards from the lot made me just stay away.
