Default Football Hall of Fame Autograph Questions

So I'm slowly putting together a collection of football HOF signed cards and had some questions for those who have some experience with the tougher ones. The following list contains guys who are on cards but seem to be the upper echelon of signatures. Can anyone give some ballpark figures as to what these players would cost if you could find them on cards?

Turk Edwards - 1955 Topps
Len Ford - 1955 Bowman/1957 Topps
Benny Friedman - 1955 Topps/1977 TD Club
Ernie Nevers - 1955 Topps
Steve Owen - 1952 Bowman
Joe Stydahar - 1952 Bowman/1975 Fleer
John Blood McNally - 1963 Playing Card/1975 Fleer
Henry Jordan - 1961-63 Topps/1964-67 Philadelphia
Emlen Tunnell - Picked up one in an ebay auction this week for $175 PSA/DNA. Seems a fair price from what I have seen.
Al Davis - on any card

Any help on any card would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

Most of these will run you $200-$600. Especially Ford, McNally and Owen.
I bought a Friedman for around $150 on a TD card a couple of years ago. I haven't seen Davis on too many cards. The one I saw recently was priced at around $1,000. I think you can definitely do better.
I have seen Tunnell and Stydahar (but not these specific cards) for $150-$200.

Hope this helps,

Charlie

1955 All Americans signed are highly prized and collected. They bring quite a premium for the big names. You will not be able to find them cheap. The others are difficult to very rare on their own. Jason

Thanks for the responses. I am curious as to why some of these guys are so expensive. Ford, Jordan, Tunnell, Bill George, Bob Waterfield, Norm Van Brocklin are all over $200 a piece yet they didn't die particularly young and had plenty of time to sign the cards in question. Anyone have any stories or info they would like to share about these or any other players?

Some of these players like George, Van Brocklin & Waterfield were regular signers from what I heard. I don't think that football autographs were as common as baseball back then so that would factor into how many survived.
I too have been trying to put together a collection of all the football HOF'ers and can tell you that certain mediums are nearly impossible to find. Most of the collectors I know gave up trying to get everything on one medium type. It's not that different from baseball.

Tony - a friend of mine has a Len Ford signed 1955 Bowman RC in a PSA slab if you are interested. You can email me at mschwade@gmail.com and I'll forward it to him.

Thanks,
Matt

I have a Friedman but not sure what is a fair price. I also have a Davis but haven't decided if I want to keep it. Feel free to make an offer on Friedman 1955
