I know it isn't baseball, but please indulge my posting of a post-war pickup that arrived today. The JFK assassination has always been one of my topics of interest, and I had never before seen this Spanish issue. Check out the looks on the bystander's faces.

Nice P/U!

I have a few 62 Post cards but nothing like that. I am unsure where they came from as I wasn't even born yet, but I assume my father?

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

This one was a long time coming but finally arrived. Just a Yellow background black back variation of Lou Kretlow. I had the orange and wanted the Yellow.

With regards the 2 Lou Kretlow cards above, are there only 2 background color variations, Yellow and Orange?

My previous owned card looks more Peach than orange, but maybe it is just faded some?
Also, looking at some internet scans, it seems like there might be 3 instead of just 2 but then again, it might just be the scans?

What I was also going to say, especially the 57 & 61, plus the fact those 2 look under graded as well.

The third to the last card I got to finish my latest 66 Topps set. Third time I have put this set together, I have the high numbers memorized...lol. This one is always hard to find the right deal on. Stoked to be done!

Weird how with the Post Office these days, a Priority package from within my state maybe 3 hours away takes more time to get to me than a First Class package from 5 states away. I digress...

The Postman was kind enough to bring this to me today - a card I’ve wanted since I was kid. In the late 80’s my LCS had a beat up copy of this - but it was still way above my budget as about an 11 year-old. The grade on this one is due to some very light glue residue on the back that doesn’t even obscure the text. Front IMO presents like a strong 4 - no wrinkles or creases. Very pleased!

I love the rough cuts too. Have a ‘56 Ted Williams and a ‘61 Mantle All-Star that are similar.

Thanks. It’s now a raw card. I hate when PSA inadvertently seals up debris and junk in the case along with the card...
