Default What kind of Moose is this anyway?

Posted By: leon

I know most have seen this card before. I also know we have new folks joining the board all of the time so figure I will see if anyone can identify what series Moose here is from? There is another similar card of Wagner in a batting pose currently owned by another board member. I call this a "Nadja-like" card. Guesses?

It's an e108...pretty rare I think.

It has the same image as his T206 card...that's all I have.

I was looking at one of the T206 sets in the registry and noticed that the person had the highest graded McCormick at PSA-6!? With a pop of only 1 at PSA-6 and none higher? Had to be a mistake.

not technically a mistake. More a result of the newly-introduced back designations from PSA.

Overall, there are seven PSA 7s and five PSA 8s of McCormick. The PSA 6 listed on that Registry set is an Old Mill PSA 6, of which only four have been officially designated as Old Mill, with none higher than the PSA 6. PSA's Set Registry does not indicate the advertising back of the card (even if listed on the flip), nor does it consolidate the population from other, different-backed T-206s.
