Love it!! The back ad is the building I worked in these past 10 years. Despite the name it's in Chicago.

Default My first Diamond Stars card

I don’t own many pre-war cards, but I am super excited to add this one to my collection!

This will be unlikely to turn heads substantially in this forum, but is kind of a big deal to me. My first substantial prewar pickup in quite some time. It’s hard for me to believe how much even lower grade HOF from this era has climbed in value in the past 10-20 years:

Very nice Cy Young Portrait.

Just got these in the mail. I believe the Jennings Brown Lenox is a previously uncatalogued/unconfirmed 1 of 1, and the E104-II Wagner is tough as well.

Wonderful cards, Ryan. Congrats. You are my hero....I almost used to be like you in buying stuff but with a lot less moolah. It sure can be fun to get such rare cards.

Just a pea-sized amount of paper loss confined to the lower left corner on the reverse
-- Frankly doesn't hardly disrupt the back or intrude on the lettering outside of the lower 1/3 of the "A" in American Caramel Co.

For a beautiful front, it made sense for me.
It's really pretty in-hand!

With these two pickups I'm now at 12/13 for my Brooklyn team set. Didn't expect to land ones this nice for the money I was looking to spend.

Some non-malicious writing on the back dropped this one a bit

Got my MR Clark items today (from Round 1). Super excited to have my first Gehrig item, and I thought at a good price to boot. Has a slight tear at the top, but no paper loss and doesn't distract from the image. Then picked up a lot that included Jimmie Foxx.

Default T205

Congrats on the 1935 Goudey Traynor, Brian. Here are a couple of T205's. Really enjoying working on this set. The prices are terrific. BTW, the HLC is in a "4" holder. I wonder what a "10" looks like...

Tim--

Great pickups! I have a soft spot for these as well.
Might I suggest that they look great sitting in SGC holders with that black background.
Really pleased with the outcome when I slabbed mine a few years back.

You're right. I saw a SGC one online the other day, and i thought the black background really made the white and orange pop.
