Back from SGC.

Some non-malicious writing on the back dropped this one a bit

Some great pick-ups over the last week (too many to call out individually). If this Board is an indicator, it looks like interest in T206 is alive and well.

Handful of random pickups, several of which come from Board members. The Evers Yellow Sky was an unusually tough back I still needed for my attempted back run (down to two - Drum and BL 460 ) The Robinson is now the "newest" card (by 20 years) that I own, but I always liked it and decided to take a shot once the listing came up on BST

Great Cobb Colgan's Kenny (also nice Globe). My latest pickup. Been trying to replace a Holmes to Homes I sold a while back for some time. This one will do until I find one without paper loss.

Didn't know if/when I would see a Red Hindu Wheat again - at least in my price range. All known backs until someone finds a "possible-but-unconfirmed" back. Would have been nice to add that REA multi-strike back too!

Nice Zach Wheat run, Dave. That's great! To the other Dave, I thought all Holmes to Homes had back damage. I think I have one with back damage as a type. I may have traded it away. Still, a tough back to find. Rob

Great card Dave. Almost all H-H have back damage. Finding an undamaged one with a decent looking front is very tough.

Awhile back I helped Patrick (our Secret Santa organizer) with the W572 set that he is now near complete (he is down to needing just 2 cards - Duncan and Barbare (if this one even exists). Out of the blue I just received the final card to complete my collector condition 1935 Goudey basic set...this one of Traynor. In good measure he also sent along a T206 Southern Leaguer. Thanks Patrick!

Always satisfying to finish off a set, and this one came as a nice surprise.

Nice Cobb Dan - that is my favorite T206 Cobb, still looking for the right one! I managed to add a few odds and ends to my Cub HOF collection this month, and a had great foray into OJ cards with a tough one of the Hoosier Thunderbolt!

Got my MR Clark items today (from Round 1). Super excited to have my first Gehrig item, and I thought at a good price to boot. Has a slight tear at the top, but no paper loss and doesn't distract from the image. Then picked up a lot that included Jimmie Foxx.

Default T205

Congrats on the 1935 Goudey Traynor, Brian. Here are a couple of T205's. Really enjoying working on this set. The prices are terrific. BTW, the HLC is in a "4" holder. I wonder what a "10" looks like...

Tim--

Great pickups! I have a soft spot for these as well.
Might I suggest that they look great sitting in SGC holders with that black background.
Really pleased with the outcome when I slabbed mine a few years back.

You're right. I saw a SGC one online the other day, and i thought the black background really made the white and orange pop.
