Default 2022 Boxing Hall of Fame inductees

Pretty eclectic class, including a woman who will one day likely be a member of both the Boxing and UFC Hall of Fame.

Looks like only 1 Old-timer got elected this year, in Tod Morgan. Don't know why they couldn't find a spot for him on the poster.

Miguel Cotto: No surprises there, a lock first-ballot inductee. If you set aside getting blasted out by Margacheato in loaded gloves, he fought the best of the best and never looked outclassed except when he got outboxed by Mayweather.

Roy Jones Jr.: Another lock first-ballot guy, he'd have been in much earlier had he retired in a timely manner.

James Toney: Another lock first ballot guy who fought way too long

I always thought this was an interesting poster. Cotto shilling for an over the counter pain relief medication. Also pretty fitting.

I used to think Cotto was very over-rated, because for all the hype he got, and he never really seemed very dominant.

I've reassessed. He's basically a short guy, with not much of a reach, who hung with and usually figured out how to beat, much more athletically gifted boxers. His resume is pretty damn impressive if you look at it, win or los, and his losses were usually against either very skilled boxers, cheaters, or when he was over the hill.
