That was a historic come-back. I only watched the last 6 minutes - starting to feel like I need to go in the basement and sit with the beer cooler during Friday's match.

Incredible finish, and I really thought Canada was done for. Never say never I guess, they have pulled this off before...and now four Golds in a row. Glad to see the Swiss on the podium too, that is food for the game.

Looking forward to the game Friday. Watched the Fin/Russia game and the Finns are no joke. Rask looked solid (B`s fan here) and the Fins skated hard, in their lanes, and generally as smart as the game can be played. very impressive !

Scott - was it as exciting as meeting Tony Esposito?

Technically, it wasn't exciting at all to meet Tony Esposito, since I didn't know who he was until he was leaving.

I watched all of today's game, and I really thought I was going to throw up at the end. I don't mind Canada, but I hate losing to them so damned often. I have to admit - Canada really looked like the better team today.

Scott -
I was just kidding about Esposito, I remembered you telling me the story when you were here.

Anyway, they (Canada men) weren't just a better team today. It will be a while (if ever) that the US produces a group of hockey players that are that good. There is a significant disparity on defense, and somewhat less of a disparity for the forwards.

That said, the best team does not always win, so you never know.
