Default September Additions

I didn't see a September thread for football so I thought I would launch one. I picked up a couple of cards this month and here is one of those.

Thanks guys, I needed Butkus to go with my Sayers and Piccolo - although 3 different rookie years, they are my remembrance of the Bears in the late 60s, early 70s.

Football season is here - not many members viewing the football section. Where is everyone hiding?

I also picked up these gems last week. Late - Great - Bart Starr.

Some great pickups there, and especially love the Piccolo.

Thanks, the football is team signed and includes Piccolo and Butkus. It also has Sayers, but someone traced over his signature - probably trying to make it stand out I'm guessing.

Nice Peter! I really like the Landry. I remember him stalking the sidelines in his coat and top hat - class at the time! Nowadays it's hoodies, sweats, and Under Armour. They should emulate Bear Bryant, Landry, Lombardi, etc.
