Default 1914 Cracker Jack market - how’s it doing?

I’ve been largely absent from this set the past year or so. Can you Cj collectors chime in on how the market is doing for this set? Pieces leveled off? On fire? Cold? Are there many new participants in the past year or so?

Greatest set ever. Thanks for any updates.

Love the set! I’m new to vintage card collecting this pandemic so I can’t speak to the market fundamentals but I just bought my first 1914 Cracker Jack, a PSA 1 Ty Cobb. Looking for a low-grade, new PSA-slab CJ of Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson or Joe Jackson.

Eric
CJs are doing good from what I see...there are a lot of active collectors out there still buying
I have noticed a few 'new' CJ collectors this year with one collecting mid-grade and up and the rest collecting low grade examples
Just about all the ones on eBay are way overpriced...only 2 or 3 currently for sale that are reasonably priced for the player and grade
After LOTG auctioned off a complete set earlier this year there has not been many for sale through the Auction Houses: Heritage had one in their last auction, REA has about 25 in their current auction, Leland's had a handful, LOTG has a LaJoie available that wasn't paid for the last time and Crazy Uncle had a few

Wood, Cravath, Pratt, LaPorte and Rickey prices have stayed strong when available

Actually the front page but you got the idea.

I don't follow them too much nowadays but it seems like a year or two ago, common, average grade (1-2) 1914s had gone down a little (maybe that was just what I was watching?). I was buying a few a few years ago but now not so much...
