T206 Errors?
Posted By: petecld
My experience has been that if you send a card to a grading company that is extremely off center, i.e. 100/0, it gets a (MC) qualifier or gets returned as mis-cut BUT when it is a T206 card that is SO off center top/bottom the name of the player appears at the top it is just called an "error"? |

T206 Errors?

Only thing I can think of is that they do it because so many people collect these 'errors'. It also points out the inconsitancies at the grading companies. They need to just do like comics and grade everything that comes in thru the door and note the problems/alterations. Ir eally like CGC's 2 color label system. Purple labels for altered comics, green labels for comics with serious defects and blue labels for unaltered comics. I don't the need exists for the green label, but a color system would be more than adequate to easily identify altered and unaltered cards. |
