Default Kinda O/T but very exciting acquisition

Posted By: warshawlaw

Years ago a cousin of mine in advertising was working with Nolan Ryan on the Advil campaign and got me a personalized signed baseball from him. I hadn't given much thought to it until last week when a client of mine told me that he was having breakfast with a friend of his from out of town and he'd get me a signed item if I wanted. I am awaitng delivery of my personalized Nolan Ryan baseball with a new panel signed and dedicated to me by Sandy Koufax. That's right, a baseball signed to me personally by the AL and modern NL single season strikeout kings. I'll post images when I get it back. BTW, my client said that when he handed him the ball Koufax looked it over and asked "why do you think I'd want to be on the same ball as Nolan?" He was joking, of course, and appreciated the record-sharing aspect of it, which I'd written in my note to my client.

Sounds great!

Are you sure that Koufax was joking?

Not to rain on your parade Adam but you really shouldve started with a ball signed by the all-time strikeout leader Matt Kilroy, and then went from there getting Koufax and Ryan. Then id be impressed
