Default SMR a little off?

Posted By: JT Burtchaell

Thought I might have a chance at a Ray Chapman

SMR says value of 5 6 7 8 9
30 Ray Chapman 30 45 75 150 450

This PSA 1 is $177 with a day to go...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&item=220012641577&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Oddly enough, PSA has graded a grand total of 5 (blank-back and non), so where do SMR prices come from?

1916 M101-4 SPORT.NEW30RAY CHAPMAN BLANK BACK 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 2
1916 M101-4 SPORT.NEW30RAY CHAPMAN 0 0 0 2 1 0 0 0 3

Yes JT, it is really worth a look/see. It is nice to know recent prices realized, rather than whatever else is out there.

SMR's are like price guides, not really close on vintage stuff and way over rpiced on newer stuff.
