Anybody want to help me with some T206 player autograph research? Who thinks the two draft registration cards here belong to the same men who appeared on the T206 card next to the registration? Who thinks “nice try, but wrong guy”? I’m not convinced, but it is compelling.

Both are the correct WWI draft cards for the T206 players.
Westlake lists his occupation on the 1910 census as ball player and Bastian has a writeup in the History of Westchester county, New York detailing his minor league career. https://books.google.com/books?id=yJ...seball&f=false The census record is not viewable without a subscription Last edited by sb1; 08-01-2022 at 06:58 PM. |
