Default 2021 Autograph goals

With 2020 mercifully near the end, a brighter future awaits us for 2021.

For me, I would like to continue and add to my plaque collection:

1. Acquire 2 of the following 3 2020 inductees:
Larry Walker
Derek Jeter
Ted Simmons

2. Acquire 2 of the following 3 older ones:
Zack Wheat
Red Faber
Cal Hubbard

I did very well on my 2020 goals thanks to a collection that was broken up over the summer. I am down to the last 15 cards I need for my 1953 Topps project; based on who they are, if I can pick up three in 2021 I'll call it a win.

Default 1986 topps redsox set

Started building a signed 1986 topps redsox set In 2020, and hope to complete it this year. Went to my first sox game with my dad in 1986, and figured it would be a fun project to complete with my 9 year old son... currently at 21/35

Did not do that well with my 2020 goals.

2021 goals for now.

1. Pick up at least 1000 hockey autographs that are not in my collection.

2. Get a few of the 1964/65 Parkhurst (1994) set, need 8.

3. Get a few more Perez-Steele HOF Postcards (1980-2002), need 19 to finish off the set.

4. Finish off a few of the pack pulled autograph sets.

5. Pick up 500 baseball, football and basketball autographs that I do not have in my collection.

6. Get at least 100 more autos for each of the 80's O-Pee-Chee hockey sets.

7. Get at least 50 more autos for the 1953 Topps Archives set.

8. Get at least 100 more auto racing autos.

9. Get a buch of other sport autos.

10. Get as many Star Wars related autos I can get.

2020 was good and bad for me...mostly good, but instead of completing one particular project, I made small inroads on several of them. If it wasn't for some major home renovation costs, I probably would have completed more.
Sooooo, here's what I've got for 2021.

1. Complete my Blacksox project. I'll be picking up 2 more team members, and although not "complete" I will be calling it quits.

2. Matt and frame the 1934 Gas House Gang.

3. Complete the 1969 Cubs (all easy ones left). I've also switched from having this matted and framed, to making a shelf display so that opens up the chance to add some baseballs, magazines and other cool things.

4. Add at least 2 more single signed 1955 Brooklyn Dodger baseballs and 2 more signed magazines.

5. Add items for individual displays I'm working on in the Memorabilia room.

6. Continue working on the signed 1961 topps (1960 World Series subset).

7 Brooklyn Dodger 1955 World Series Tickets

8 1934 Game 7 Ticket.

9. Catfish Hunter Win Tickets and signed memorabilia.

That's my overall goals, and although not possible for me in it's entirety, I would really like to make a strong effort on most of these...depends on money though.

I have an extra Paille and Bergman signed. Need any signed action cards as I have plenty of them with some obscure players autographs. I also have a few extra signed Future Stars.
As your Crozier question I have all 3 of the action cards signed by him as well as the regular card. He signed them all in a type of white ink so they show up great. He also sent me a signed 8 by 10 as a Sabre at the same time. Died way to young. He and Roy Edwards were the reason I wanted to play goal as I also caught with my right hand.
In the Missing Link set I only need Godfrey and Al Rollins. I'm not sure anyone even has one of him. I have all the All-Stars and team team leader cards all signed.
In the Tall Boys I thought I had Godfrey but don't. It's the only one I need. Have all the Future Stars, All-Stars and Scoring leaders all signed as well as the 6 card autograph series. I even have the Hull and Keon box's signed but in the Missing Link just the Howe. Missed out on Richard and forget the 1966-67 with Orr. He wants to much.
In the 66-67 I only need Crozier but I don't think he could have signed as he passed in Jan. of 1996. Don't know who you could ask to find out. I got the Orr in the set signed when he still answered fan mail but pers. all requests.
Stopped collecting hockey autographs but think I'll get back into it and forget baseball for a while.
Let me know in the future if you can use the 2 cards and maybe we can work something out. With the problems with the post office right now I wouldn't want to send them thru the mail anyway.

For 2021 either a Babe Ruth signed something or Lebron James signed card.

Default 2021 Goals

Here are my autograph collecting goals for 2021:

1) Add 1 of the 2 sigs I still need for my 3,000 Hit bat.

2) Add 1 of the 2 sigs I need for my 3,000 K ball.

3) Add 5 more single-signed baseballs to my collection of Top-100 Baltimore Orioles of all time.

4) Add 1 deceased HOFer to my single-signed baseball collection.

5) Add 1 living HOFer baseball (right now I only need Jeter, but they may elect more).

6) Add 1 Baltimore team signed ball from a year they made the playoffs.

I have hit the duel wall of high $$ and rarity when it comes to 1917-21 White Sox players, but I do have a very few obtainable guys (Comiskey, Doug McWeeny) so my goal is to check 3 off my want list this year.

My biggest goal is to locate and pry loose one of the harder ones.

.
.
2021 goals pretty much unchanged from past years.

Primary goal is to cross off at least one name on my vintage Detroit Tigers autograph want list.

Secondary goal is to not buy autographs I do not need. But exceptions allowed for truly tough autographs (either duplicate or outside scope of my primary collecting interest).

I'll get back to you once I know what is going on with my job and the mail gets back to sort of normal.
