Default early pennent question

Hello. My name is Drew and I am not a memoribilia collector but I have a friend who asked me to research something he has for him. He has a early pennent from the Philidelphia A's circa early teens or so.
I know, that like cards, condition is everything as far as value but what range (extremly wide range) would something like this be? I don't know anything else about it except that the City of Greenville S.C. is interested in it for a exhibit on Joe Jackson (who is from Greenville).
Any info or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Drew

There are several knowledgeable pennant folks here, could you post a scan or photo and maybe they will weigh in.

Drew the range is HUGE and completely dependant on condition, size, and graphics. They may not even be dating the piece correctly, which means the range could be $100 to $2000+. We really have to see an image or at least get a complete description. We have likely seen it before. Have them measure length (not including tassles) and describe the images on it. Also, look for rips, holes (other than pin holes), and a the quality of the tip (ripped off?). Are the images and letters printed or sewn on? We will give you a tight range, but need this info.

Thanks for the input. As I can gather more details and info about it I will pass it along with pics (if possible) to get some better info from those in the know. It may be a bit but I will bump the thread back up when I am more informed.
Thanks again,
Drew
