Default Keurajian vs Beckett

Compare https://sports.ha.com/itm/autographs...=MyBids-101116 and Page 223 Simmons 5 in Ron's 2nd edition. If Ron is right, this is bad. As Ive mentioned before Beckett is always alittle too liberal in passing things IMO but with PSA taking very few items there is a large increase in Beckett slabs. Also to me the Koufax and possibly Drysdale on this are iffy https://www.ebay.com/itm/37378869956...AAAOSwiaFhjb~N

That does not look like the normal Simmons autographed Artvue.

The slab means everything in autographs as well as cards. Forget the legitimacy of the actual item. It seems to me that this item would have stood out as questionable at best, but people don't educate themselves as they used to or should continue to do they just go with the label on the slab and rely on that only.
PS FWIW Beckett and Grad are my least favorite of authenticators and should I say to me the least authoritative / confidence generating of the TPAs as well.

I agree about Beckett and Grad. In recent auctions IMO the Clementes and Jackie Robinson they sold with Beckett slabs had some questionable ones tho it did not stop the high bids
