Both on Long island too. Maybe someone with two IDs who got mixed up? Or the BIN guy made a deal for it and forgot to remove it.

They both are from NY so they are probably the same seller
One is listed via an auction, the other a Buy It Now
So when the auction runs its course, they should delete the Buy It Now one.
Plus leaving the higher Buy It Now one listed may result in higher bids if someone thinks that's what they should go for

Both seem like legitimate sellers, so what's going on? Very strange.

Default Bin

The BIN was listed 6 hours ago. Do you suppose they are trying to sell it before they win the auction?

Interesting way of shilling your own auctions, if true.

The auction listing was ended. Now it is just listed as a buy it now. Probably the same seller using different accounts. Crazy how easy it is to just cancel bids and end an auction. To bring a bit of humor last week I had a member cancel my bid on eBay so they could sell it to another member off eBay. At least now I know not to waste my time bidding on there eBay items.

Bidding is over on the card for auction. Looks like the seller ended the auction.

Yeah, they were both up at the same time for about 11 hours before one was ended

As a bidder this double listing would have the opposite effect on me. I would be less likely to bid if unable to determine which actually had the card. Hopefully it was just an honest mistake. I think it's more likely that the seller who doesn't seem to deal in vintage cards stole the picture for his listing but that would be a strange coincidence them living in the same town.

Why two different cities though? I assumed same seller and assumed the locations were close, but didn't bother to look them up. I also have seen a lot of sellers listing a BIN and an auction for the same card, but usually with the same ID, not different ones. Wouldn't hurt to mention that in the auction listing that it is also available for a bin (or for local purchase) and the auction could end at anytime if the item sells first.

I have seen the same seller use ID's from 3 different states. The seller was using his kids ID's for the free listings. I am sure that a lot of sellers do this.

Mistakes are typically honest, whereas dishonesty is always on purpose.
