1.) Lajoie - Cracker Jack

2.) McGraw - Alpha Photo Engraving

3.) Speaker - M116 Sporting Life

4.) George Wright - 1874 Warren Studios (sorry for the scan of Harry - I should read a little better)

5.) Cy Young - 1902 W600 Sporting Life (most of his other cards, including the E107, make him look like a geezer).

6.) Connie Mack - E98

7. Ban Johnson - Fan Craze

person, I think team pics need to be excluded. This about a person, not a team. Same would gof or multi-player cards.

Changing my votes to the same as Andy's.

Wright - I wouldn't have listed him to begin with since he is not in as a player.

This group truely has a some lackluster cards with nothing that really stands out.

Jay

My favorites:

Lajoie - E107
Speaker - M116 Sporting Life
Young - E90-1 (Boston)
McGraw - Cracker Jack
George Wright - 1874 Warren CDV

If you are going with the 1937 election year, you also need to include Mack and Ban Johnson, since they both had cards. I'll go with the E98 Mack and the Fan Craze Johnson.

Lajoie - T3
Young - T205
McGraw - T3
G. Wright - Warren Studios card
Speaker - T3
B. Johnson - Fan Craze
Mack - Tattoo Orbit (His Topps Magic Photo is really cool. An almost 90 year old man in full catcher's gear. But it is so tiny that I decided not to vote for it.)

I guess I voted for too many T3s, but they sure are nice.

By the way, not to criticize the voting in the first round, but do the supporters of the E107 Wagner really feel it is the best LOOKING Wagner? Best? I won't argue. Most desireable? Again, I won't argue. But best LOOKING?

I think it being the only image of old Honus in his "Sunday best" is what made it so likeable.

I think people are tired of the oft-seen T206 portrait of Honus and all of the similar cards.

M101-2--is this a card, for the purpose of this thread?
Everyone knows that Ban J's only (other?) card is the Fan Craze, and is it UG-LY. So B Johnson: M101-2, or (yurg) the Fan Craze. Poor guy's gotta have Some card!

Young T206, glove shows.
George Wright--the CdV Warren
Lajoie Cracker Jack
McGraw T206 (sweater)
Speaker --T3! (hands down!)
Mack--Texas Tommy!

Need more pictures of the player's cards to choose from. I like Cracker Jack cards, but Lajoie's isn't a great picture of him. Here's another option:

LAJOIE - T206 w/bat (one of my all-time favorite baseball cards!)
SPEAKER - 1914/15 Cracker Jack
YOUNG - E90-1
MCGRAW - T206 slouching red background
WRIGHT - No opinion

P.S. That CJ Cobb doesn't suck. Is it from the recent find?

I have to partly disagree with the comment that Jay made earlier--there really are some standout cards in this group, especially Napoleon Lajoie. Many of the cards of Lajoie are pretty darn attractive--he might be called very 'cardogenic'. Besides my choice below, you definitely can't go wrong with his E96, M116, and all his T206 cards.

Nap Lajoie: T3
John McGraw: T3
Tris Speaker: E126 American Caramel
George Wright: no opinion
Cy Young: E90-1 Boston

Brian
