Default What are these? 1961-1963 cardboard pennants

Anyone have any info on these?
Based on the logos, I've determined they must be from 1961-1963.
They are small cardboard pennants that look like they may peel off.
They are printed on both the front and back and are approximately 1" x 1-3/4".
They don't appear to be listed in the Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards.
Thanks in advance!

Reminiscent of this contemporary sticker set from Nu-Card. Maybe a proof for trying to market to MLB to get a license?

These pennants/stickers are the same ones that were released two different ways that I am aware of.

First by league in a plastic bag. See:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/12524069040...cAAOSwi5tiKrXe

Secondly there were a Post Cereal insert and mail away offer as well, see ebay listings here for loose pennants

Post Sugar Coated Corn Flakes offered 10 pennants for two box tops and Sugar Coated Rice Krinkles offered one pennant inside the box. See:

Saying all this, none of the above appear to be exactly what you have. My first thought is that these are the individual pennants with the backing peeled off and attached to some kind of cardboard. Perhaps even cereal box stock.

But it appears these may have been issued with the pennants attached and can be peeled off the card stock? Is that the case?

Default Interesting

The folds on the cardboard backings plus the extra scraps present on some look very much like the ends of multipack display boxes for retail use. Wonder what was in the packs? Would suggest looking at as many oddball display boxes as possible to see if you can find a match....
