Default E90-1 Keeler Tampered?

Any thoughts on the card and/or holder?

Not sure that I have seen a tampered holder before but I read about "frosting" as a possible signal that its been compromised. I see what I would call frosting on the left edge but that might not be abnormal. Thoughts on that? The card looks a bit thin but that's not too unusual for the issue and who trims for that centering...?

Looks pretty good to me too. Natural wear and tear. I've had/still have a bunch of E90-1s from decades ago. That's how they have aged.

Quite a lot of older PSA holders have this level of frosting...doesn't make it any easier for us to spot fakes, unfortunately. I think it is always wise to take a closer look when you see frosting, but it is far from automatic.

Cheers,
Blair

Thanks Blair. What makes you think this is an older holder?

Not the oldest generation, but at least 6 years old. The current generation of PSA encapsulated cards have the number grade (the "2") on the line below the letters (the "GOOD"). It coincided with PSA starting to use half-grades. Can't remember exactly when that change happened, but it was close to 6 years ago. So the slab you are looking at is probably 6-10 years old.

Cheers,
Blair

Thanks very much for the comments. Seems like the card and holder are more than likely legit.
