Default Out of The Park Baseball?

I stumbled onto this wonderful text sim a few years ago and it's one of my favorite ways to pass the time. You can simulate and play from any year in baseball history. I've turned the St. Louis Browns into perennial contenders, Integrated early by signing Oscar Charleston to the New York Yankees, simulated the rest of Shoeless Joes career without the Scandal, and have seen what Ted Williams numbers would've looked like with no wars.

If you enjoy computer games and baseball history, this game is a must. So immersive and detail oriented as well!

I have not played the baseball game, but the OOTP boxing game is outstanding. The level of realism and number of fighters in the database are top-notch. I have looked at the baseball previously, and I am not surprised by your take on OOTP baseball.

I really enjoy OOTP baseball as well. I've often encountered in playing historical sims players that I didn't know about and subsequently looked up. I'm currently attempting to run a sim from 1871 to the present, which is now in 1888. I love the way that it incorporates some randomness on top of the solid real stat-based engine, so that in a given sim, some "very good" players might become all-time greats, and vice versa.
