Default Publishing memorabilia articles

I have written an article inspired by the 1911 vintage baseball items that belonged to a player on a semi-pro Iowa team. His team played several important black teams, etc. The article isn't about the memorabilia, although its mentioned - it's more about the teams involved. Any ideas on where to go to publish in print? I've tried 'Old Cardboard' - they weren't interested because it didn't have a card angle.

How about one of the SABR publications (Baseball Research Journal or National Pastime) :

I've also written some things on obscure teams initially inspired by memorabilia but ended up being too long and have never got around to shortening it for publication. Nevertheless, the stories can be interesting and they should not be lost.

Try sportscollectorsdaily.com It's an online magazine/news about the collecting hobby with good readership. Has articles about all parts of sports collecting, old to new, auction news, etc. However, as it's centric to memorabilia not history, make sure you prominently feature pictures of the uniform and equipment too. The guy who runs it is a real good guy and very professional-- I believe he works as a producer for television news by day. He's an excellent writer himself. Mention that you had an article published for VBCB or whatever the name on T206s, so he knows your experience. He's familiar with net54 and probably is a member.

As it's regularly updated-- it's supposed to be a daily news site--, it's always looking for new material.

With photos and descriptive captions for the equipment I think the article is both a history and a memorabilia article.

Thanks guys.

I can't find any information on the SABR site regarding how to submit articles, but I've sent them an email about this.
