Pre War hobby finally getting its due?
Posted By: Mike W
Is it me, or are pre war cards going for alot more than just a few years ago? At least on e-bay, which is what I'm basing this statement from. I see it in T206 prices, Caramel prices, Goudey prices, etc. Is the Pre War hobby finally getting the recognition it deserves or is E-bay simply "found out"? ... I miss the good old days. Wish I took advantage of them more than I did. Maybe we are just so excited to see a real card weeding through all the "scam cards" on e-bay that we're willing to pay anything for them. I don't remember scamming having such an overwhelming presence years ago as it does now. |

It's jsut the evolution of eBay and more people having access to the internet. I've been on eBay since early 1997 and it was an absolutely wonderful place to find great deals on collectibles and also a great place to unload stuff. I used eBay to unload the dead inventory in gaming and comic book store. |
