Default E92 croft's candy honus wagner

Any idea of value
Psa auction prices only show a 1 and an authentic
What would a 4,5, or 6 go for
Any guesses?

You have some choices.
Batting or throwing pose?
Black, Blue, or Cocoa back?
Is there a Red Back? maybe DJ or more knowledgeable members than me can chime in on that one.

Not for sale (part of my back run). There are very few graded higher; there are less than 25 total on combined SGC/PSA pop. A Dockman batting in a psa 5 sold for over $31k a year ago. Crofts is a tougher combo - there are probably 4x-5x as many Dockman as Crofts candy. So I think this card would certainly go for at least $31k, and I am guessing at auction it would go for $40k++

I don't know but the highest graded is a PSA 7 that was previously in A PSA A holder.

I don't know what you're seeing Larry, someone purchased it in the authentic holder in the REA auction in 2014 for $6500 the same card was sold in the Heritage auction for $19,000 in a PSA 7 holder two years later.

More importantly

How did they grade it a 7...even if they missed the trim ..with the letter A missing on the back

It's a print flaw not paper loss the big issue to me is the Authentic to a 7 and the why isn't the 7 listed in their past auctions.
