Default Preference- NFL or College Football

So, it’s that time of year and I thought I’d pose the question. For the football fans out there, what is your preference between NFL and college? Why? I’m college all the way (even though at upper D1 level it’s morphing into NFL lite, which is a real shame). What’s your pick between the 2? Trent King

College definitely, though the difference between the two is getting smaller and smaller...and not just in regards to the on-the-field action.

Sad, but inevitable.

Besides...who cares...it's still Baseball season Damn it!!

Being in Missouri I’m kinda neutral on it , I like the NFL and the Chiefs but
Exited about The Missouri Tigers this year .
Used to be college players could hardly wait to jump to the draft for a payday ,
Now It’s to the point some are better off staying in college .

Enjoy both the NFL and college games. Pressed to make a choice, would choose watching Notre Dame over any Pro Game and that’s even growing up in Patriots country.

NFL definitely.

If you would have asked prior to the NIL judgement, I might have answered differently. NIL and the transfer portal has destroyed college sports to an unrecognizable level. It’s simply junior pros at this time with no loyalty whatsoever. I’ll watch UFL if I want that.

NFL definitely! The talent difference between some teams in college is unwatchable at times. The bowl system is pretty brutal too.

The transfer portal has completely divorced football from the "imaginary" value of a football player benefitting from a college degree. College football is no longer amateur. The schools like the money as much as the players.

I do like the teams shifting to more competitive conferences and have thought for several years that the British system or relegation in their football leagues would provide more competitive games that would be superior to the 77-0 cream puff blowouts. It looks like that may be where we are heading.

It used to be college football by a wide margin. Portal/NIL have done away with most of it.

Go Gamecocks! Go Pats!
