Default SOLD Sandy Koufax RC

****SOLD****

IMO a pretty solid raw Koufax - probably either GD or VG IMO, but see scans for yourself, I dont grade just basing off other PSA 2, 2.5, and 3's I have seen.

Corners have some where and bends, crease from the bottom rights down to the LYN in Brooklyn, surface looks pretty good though and has some "eye appeal" IMO on a raw copy.

In the future if you make a counter offer to a board member you should give them a chance to answer.

Thanks for the tip, I assumed after 5 hours you were no longer interested.

Next time I will state "claim in thread" as I stated in my PM to you. I also had the courtesy to message you when it was sold and I had not heard back.

You never sent me a pm stating claim in thread. I suggest you change your business practices or your time will be short lived on this board.

Ok my man

You made an offer I countered then you disappeared. I then messaged you around 3 and stated it sold and updated thread. You then messaged me and said you wanted it AFTER I told u it sold (check your messages)!!!

After that I SAID in a PM that I will update in my thread "claim in thread" next time so your taking the above out of context.

Not sure what you want here??? Sorry if you felt different, too many people don't respond so I thought you lost interest....what more can I say.

Peace out....

So if someone else offered him what he wants while he was waiting for your response he is supposed to decline the offer, or tell that person to await your response? I wouldn't have. If the OP was courteous enough to let you know the card sold after he sent the counter offer he certainly did nothing wrong. Some sellers write in their listings any offer to buy takes precedence over pending negotiations. They shouldn't have to as it's just common sense.

Also I replied to your pm of the counter offer immediately after I opened it. I do not monitor this board 24/7.

Then new to the forum or not you did nothing wrong. Sounds to me like Taxman is just upset he lost the card over a few bucks. It happens. Sometimes when you're thinking about a purchase another person is as well. Wait too long and the chance may be gone. It has happened to me before.

Long story short don't make a counter offer your not going to honor unless you put stipulations. People have no way of knowing when you will see their offer or answer.

Really, maybe you forgot to hit send because I never got a response for approx 5 hours?? Check your sent messages......either that or you actually didn't respond for approx 5 hours.

This is getting real old my man, you may not be lying but if you in fact did what u said, you clearly didn't hit send or it was 5 hours later.

Look, I'm not trying to be a jerk here. I assumed you were no longer interested since I didn't hear back, nothing personal at all. Had you said you were at work and wouldn't respond for a while I certainly would have waited...just saying.

I responded to your message immediately after I opened it which appears to have been some time after you sent it. However, I was away from my computer while at work and did not know when or if you had responded. Lying is a strong accusation that I would suggest not be used especially in a situation where an open offer was still extended.

You always take the risk when you making a counter offer...if you just paid asking price and put it on the board its yours.....thats whats good about BINs...no headaches..no alleged misunderstandings about who was waiting for a response et... ..you have to weigh savings 30 bucks versus the headaches of just missing a purchase as an example, i would just pay so dont have to await magic emails for counter offers back and forth unless i am prepared to risk losing the card and not complain about it

Agreed! He had a fair price on the card. To dicker him down even more, you are probably not going to get the card, as he had multiple people interested in the card. I was willing to pay the full asking price, but the crease bothered me so much, I didn't wish to mess with it.
