** April Pick-Up Thread **

Added a couple of Acebo cards to the collection this month. Ford Smith and Rodolfo Fernandez. Both also played in the Negro League.

Just received this upgrade and absolute raw beauty 33 Goudey Gehringer from Phil Lewis on the board... I've always loved this card, and GREAT dealing with Phil.

... which leads to me to this. Phil, having seen a few Gehringer sigs I'd posted previously, also very generously sent me this beautiful signed hat. Phil and others like him are what make this board a great place.

Folks sharing their cards, sharing their hard researched information, sharing their passion for the game and for the hobby are why I've frequented the board going on 10 years now. Gladly this stuff continues to outweigh the occasional trolling and drama some others seem to incite.

I was able to put this McAleese back in my collection after selling it over 10 years ago! I had to sell my collection after a divorce. I sold it raw and never thought I would see any of my collection again. Never thought I would be collecting T206 again but here I am with a much better collection. When i seen the pink mark on the back I recognized the card. I normally wouldn't have purchased because of the mark.

I just found out this T210-8 of Charlie Rhodes existed and was able to pick this up. I will be keeping an eye out for an upgrade .
