Default 1977 Basketball backs

Is there a premium for either the grey or white backs? Is one harder to find than the other?
Thanks,
Bob

I have never heard of anyone placing a premium on either. It's a very small sample, but looking at my set it's about 50/50, lol.

OK Thanks. I guess at 50/50 neither has a premium.
Thanks,
Bob

The white backs are much more plentiful than the gray backs, but being an unpopular set there apparently isn't much of a premium. A few examples of quantities from current COMC cards available, Gail Goodrich 19 white backs and 0 gray backs, Nate Archibald 26 white backs and 1 gray back, Jamaal Wilkes 14 white backs and 1 gray back, John Havlicek 22 white backs and 0 gray backs, Swen Nater 10 white backs and 4 gray backs, Tom Burleson 14 white backs and 1 gray back, Robert Parish 17 white backs and 2 gray backs.

Wow. That is quite a difference in numbers between the white and gray. Yes I guess because of the unpopularity of the set, there is no premium set.
thanks for this info.

I think if the numbers were reversed, the white backs would carry a premium. I prefer the white backs; I think they just look nicer! Even though it is not worth a lot, this is one of my 10 favorite cards. Bought this for $10 shipped on eBay and was shocked when I got it in hand. Finding a centered version like this is difficult.
