Default 1958 Topps Salesman's Sample Cards Hank Aaron Tim Thompon

Good afternoon. Just wondering if anyone has seen these 1958 cards before. Also approximate value.
Thanks for any/all help!
Gary

Nope, unseen.... likely high value.

I ‘have’ seen a 1959 salesman sample from topps. The back was green and black ink on white card stock, cut all to hell and back...

The back was then Pirate Ted Kluszewski, and the front was actually Orioles Team card. Very neat.

Here are a couple of links that show the whole panel(of different players). Interesting pieces for sure. I'd guess the best way to sell these would be auction format. Then they sell for whatever someone is willing pay. I'd say challenging to price, not an expert on these though. Obviously, Billy Hoeft is no Hank Aaron.

Oddly enough there is one of these currently on ebay - Al Kaline card that was quite obviously part of a larger card panel (appears to be torn apart from at least one other card)

Also note that 58 Topps had 2 (regular issue) "Insert Cards" advertising a "Felt Emblem" Redemption and a Felt "Initial" Redemption.

I have trouble with picture posting but if someone sends me an email at NiceDocter@aol.com (thats Docter with an "e") I can send pictures that you can post of the original uncut strip front and back that I bought about 35 years ago from a guy named Jack Urban. Thanks...... Rocky in Florida

Default Salesman sample

The Aaron will garner some real interest. I’ve been on the lookout for salesman samples pretty intensely for the past year and a half. The common is probably worth about $100 in this market.

If anyone has and salesman samples that you want to sell, let me know.

Eric
