Default First T206 Karger Piedmont 150

Received my first T206 in the mail today, from a Net54 BST purchase. Very happy. Decided to start small and work on a Cincinnati team set, although I'm not yet focusing on backs. Thanks Brianp-beme.

Are you using the BST here on NET54? I bought both of mine there, waiting for the second to arrive. There is a lot of movement of cards on that forum.

Default T206

Nice way to start.
Karger is a tough common .
Once you get into T206 it's hard to get out.
Enjoy the journey.

Nice card and the way they should look, with nice colors and honest wear.

Thanks for all the compliments. I hit a wall with the 1935-1945 Reds. Just wasn't finding items that piqued my interest anymore (although I have thought about getting into ticket stubs - but $$$).

After perusing Net54 for about a year, T206 looked like a good place to jump in and start a new project. Most of the cards don't put a massive dent in the wallet (for the Cincinnati team set, that is), and is something I can pursue month after month. I suppose if I ever start looking for complete back runs of the team set things will get more difficult. But that worry is for farther down the road.

It's a beauty! I bought my first T206 via Net54 as well.

Maybe it's just me, but many 150 series seem to have bolder colors and solid registration compared to later series.

Also, Karger looks like Robert Patrick here (the T1000 actor from Terminator 2).

I will never be able to look at this card without seeing T1000 now.
