Default Grading Q: Paper Loss

There's a "hole" in the front paper of the card. It doesn't go all the way through to the back, so it's just on the front. How much would that affect the grade and what do you think it would grade? Thanks.

Your pics don't work for me but anything with PL or a hole I believe will grade a PR-1 as far as I know?

Any hole (that's not supposed to be there) should garner a Poor 1, but if he says it doesn't go through to the back, then it's considered paper loss. I can't see the images either, but my guesses are that if it's within the image itself, probably best grade would be a 2. If it's in a small and within a white border, maybe go up to a 3.

Paper loss on the back is graded less harshly. I have a Ryan rookie with a cm sized (sorry I'm suddenly European) rectangle missing from the back that graded a PSA 3.

I have a Venezuelan with paper loss on front that's graded a 2. I don't think PSA will grade it any higher than that.

It almost looks like a dent opposed to paper loss, I would still send it in and see, this might be an exception based on what it is? Although it won't be a high grade.

Probably end up as the best "2" you will ever see.

I'd grade it a 4 but it will probably end up a 2.
